Emmy Raviv's Stranger Closer is a 30 minute solo performance reflecting on family history as it relates to Israel and Palestine. The show comes out of a 4 1/2 month visit to that region and was completed this spring as her senior project for College of the Atlantic. Using poetry and cardboard instillation, she explores the personal as the political. Writer & panel discussion following show.
