Carts and a Cold One

What a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon! Come celebrate summer at the excellent Carts And A Cold One at Ninkasi Brewing Company. The event should be just what gorgeous summer weather calls for, an evening of suds sipping, food nibbling, a band playing, and good times. Your participation supports programs such as the School Garden Project and the Farm To School Program.

Ninkasi Brewing Company's patio will be filled with food carts, kegs of beer, a band, and revelers like you. The local food carts are a fantastic group. We already signed up the Party Cart, Rolling Stone Wood Fired Pizza, and Vanilla Jill's frozen yogurt.

Each cart will create a dish that highlights locally grown produce and pairs with one of the Ninkasi beers. We are anxiously awaiting the Ninkasi brew heads' selection of beers to go with frozen yogurt. We've seen Guiness floats. Is there such a thing as a Tricerahops smoothie?

We've included some in your face competition for the carts. You get to judge which cart provides the best tastes. We count up your votes and give a prize to the winner.

So, here's how it works. Participants will get a ticket for each cart and the accompanying beer. We anticipate this event to sell out. A small amount of tickets will be reserved to purchase at the door for $18.00 per ticket.
