ARC Orchestra "Passion & Romance"
The American River College Orchestra presents Tchaikovsky's stirring Symphony No. 5 and soloist Tanya Végváry playing Chopin's Piano Concerto #2.
An international concert pianist, Végváry, has played the National Gallery in Washington DC as well as the Hungarian Embassy in D.C. She has been invited to perform at Master classes in Greece and just returned from Italy where she collaborated with the Musica DArte 2106 at the San Marino International Music Summer Courses. This is a rare chance to hear the California native.
Together, these pieces hint at the passion and longing of both composers. Listeners will feel the power and be moved.
