Eat Your Way Through LA: Taste of MacArthur Park/Westlake District
Every Sunday, since my family came to Los Angles almost 60 years ago, we have traveled anywhere from 12 to 15 miles into the heart of Los Angeles to attend church. At 3rd and Alvarado sits the Antiochian Orthodox Christian Cathedral that has served LA for over 50 years. And though LA is full of hundreds of unique and diverse neighborhoods, few can compare to the MacArthur Park/Westlake District neighborhood in which St. Nicholas Cathedral calls home. We want to introduce you to this delicious neighborhood!
In these last two decades, I've learned about what really makes this community unique: the people, the food, the history, the culture, the density and the infrastructure. I hope you'll join us to enjoy what makes this community tick, taste the food, and learn more in 4 hours than you thought you could know about a one-square mile community.
Any "Eat Your Way Through LA" food tour is a real party and adventure since we ride place to place on a bus! And this "taste of" tour promises to fill your belly and your mind. We'll stop at 5 locations for food, as well as visit cultural and historical landmarks that define this community, including the Legendary Park Plaza, the Levitt Pavilion in MacArthur Park, Mama's Hot Tamales, and much, much more!
Join us for the "Eat Your Way Through LA": Taste of MacArthur Park/Westlake District on Sunday, July 29th from 1:30pm to 5:30pm as we eat across this special neighborhood.

Please note: this tour will meet at and depart from St. Nicholas Antiochian Orthodox Christian Cathedral promptly at 1:30pm, and secure parking is provided behind the church at approximately 2308 West 4th Street.
Each seat on this special tour is $50/person* (plus processing fees) and includes food, the bus, gratuity for the driver, and many other treats. You may want to bring extra cash for more food, treats and drinks.
*The ticket price includes a a donation to St. Nicholas Orthodox Cathedral.
