La Bizarre
Kensington Sinfonia's first concert of the 2016-2017 season features Robert Fuchs' glorious Serenade for Strings No. 3, Vivaldi's Sinfonia RV 116, and our own soloist Laura Reid playing Canadian composer Scott Godin's beautiful Home. We conclude with La Bizarre", one of Telemann's masterfully written orchestral suites. Telemann brings marvellous inconsistency and rhythmic and harmonic novelty to these beautiful French Baroque dances.
