Undergroundfilm, the longest running film site on the web, is proud to present the UndergroundfilmMaker Festival. The UGFMF seeks to recognize the efforts of individuals who are committed to a life of filmmaking. The festival has three rounds: portfolio submission, filmmaker interview and new projects. Filmmakers will submit at least two films for consideration after which ten finalists will be selected for a videotaped interview. They will then each be given a short film assignment. The six top assignments will be screened along with filmmaker interviews and clips from their work at the Roxie Theater On January 31st, 2008. |
