Concerts At The Saints - John Fumasoli & The Jones Factor
The Jones Factor, a 10 piece little big band, wasformed in 1986 by trombonist and bandleader John Fumasoli.
Smaller than a big band, but larger than his trombone septet, Fumasoli decided to embark on a project that can best be described as front burner/back burner with the instrumentation of a pared down big band and the addition of French horn.
The talented musicians of thisdyamic ensemble are at home with musical diversity,playing a multitude of styles. A small selection of theircredits include: The Village Vanguard Orchestra, Woody Herman Orchestra, Gerry Mulligan, Roland Vasquez, Rufus Reid, Grady Tate, Randy Brecker, Kenwood Dennard,NancyWilson, B.B. King, Dianne Reeves, Tito Puente,Bill Evans,Jean Luc-Ponty, Kenny Garrett and Tony Bennett.
