6th Annual Heirloom TomatoFare at Cedarbrook Lodge
Cedarbrook Lodge's 6th annual Heirloom TomatoFare will showcase the abundant harvest of heirloom tomatoes in the Pacific Northwest. Guests will have the opportunity to sample heirloom tomatoes, as well as heirloom tomato-inspired dishes prepared by some of the top Pacific Northwest chefs! Stay tuned for the complete line-up of award winning chefs. Heirloom tomatoes will also be available for purchase.

And don't miss out on the bluesy Americana from acclaimed singer-songwriter Sheryl Wiser (www.reverbnation.com/sherylwiser) and the country-tinged bluegrass of FarmStrong(www.farmstrongmusic.com) as they perform live!

Wisers music is sharp and clean, featuring her sweet, powerful voice tempered by rich, stunning melody. Her music compels you to listen, and as youre drawn into the web she weaves of thoughts and feelings and ideas, you find yourself walking on edge of a quick wit sharpened with water-deep emotions. Wiser writes emotional, rhythmically stirring songs and delivers them with genuine passion. She is a gifted singer and songwriter.

Joining us for the festivities will be artisan growers Gene and Geri Prentice and John and Nancy Bromiley , who provide Copperleaf with their heirloom tomatoes. Each spring the Prentice's offer over 65 varieties of unique and unusual tomato seedlings. The Bromiley's have over 430 tomato plants at their one acre Moses Lake mini-farm, where they also raise squash, cabbage, corn, and cucumbers which are all served at Copperleaf.

"The Tomato Festival has grown into one of Cedarbrook Lodge's most popular traditions and we look forward to it every year," said Culinary Director Roy Breiman. "What's great about the TomatoFare is that everyone involved has so much fun; our guests enjoy an afternoon outside on our beautiful lawn featuring live music and also the ability to sample a wide variety of heirloom tomatoes inspired dishes and heirloom tomato Bloody Mary's showcased by our amazing team, artisan growers and chefs."
