Salad Bowl 2012
Salad Bowl 2012 is just around the corner and promises to remain the fast-paced and fun evening that it has been for the past five years. A Salad Bowl ticket includes the opportunity to choose from over 250 bowls handmade and painted by Pottery Northwest resident artists. Purchase a ticket from Brown Paper Tickets, choose a bowl when you arrive, and fill it with delectable bounty provided by some of Seattle's best chefs. That's the Salad Bowl!

The Salad Bowl is the one fund-raising event at Pottery Northwest that we do annually to support a wide variety of events throughout the year like our resident artist's shows and curated exhibitions that are free and open to the public.

Beyond a selection of fabulous salad bowls, a Salad Bowl ticket also includes the opportunity to bid on and win unique artwork from an intentionally small and exquisite silent auction, or chat with the artists-in-residence in their gallery and work spaces, or even become a sponsor.

This year, in a departure from the past years' serving platters, a sponsor ticket entitles you to draw from a collection of extraordinary and lush storage jars created by the PNW residents and several guest artists such as Jeffry Mitchell and Tip Toland.

A completely new addition to the event this year is a mini live auction (ten minutes max) featuring dinner prepared by Chef Robin Leventhal on tableware created by former resident and Seattle artist, Deborah Schwartzkopf.

The Salad Bowl in a nutshell:
-           250 handmade and painted bowls to choose from,
-           Scrumptious edibles from Seattle's most talented (and very generous) chefs,
-           A silent auction of exquisite artwork,
-           Extraordinary storage jars for sponsor ticket holders to choose from, and
-           A live auction dinner prize
