Meet and engage with compelling, renowned BC artists in our three-part speaker series. A Q&A session follows each presentation.
Dr. Celeste Snowber is a dancer, writer, poet and Associate Professor in the Faculty of Education at Simon Fraser University. Celeste will explore how deepening our relationships with our bodies and our senses can break open vistas of inspiration for writers, performers and artists. She will uncover what it means to create from the inside out and integrate the mundane and magic of our daily lives as a way to access the muse within. Celebrating the body in its limits, beauty and paradox, she will weave dance, story, comedy and the poetic to reclaim creating and living with passion from the inside out. Celeste will perform several pieces and improvise using audience contributions.
