Thai Samakkee Summit 2016 - Los Angeles
Join us at the 4th Annual Samakkee Summit! Samakkee brings together organizations and individuals from across the United States to discuss issues, share solutions, and celebrate community development among Thais and Thai Americans. Tentative conference topics this year include professional associations, arts and entertainment, academia, religion, and engaging with the political process, with a special focus on Inspiring Thai American Leadership.
Reception the evening of Friday, August 26th, will be held at the Royal Thai Consulate Residence located at 621 Lorraine Blvd. Los Angeles, CA 90005. The Friday evening reception is open (and encouraged) to anyone registered for the Summit including speakers and volunteers.
Breakfast, morning panels, lunch, and afternoon panels on Saturday, August 27, will be held at Empress Pavilion, 988 N Hill St #201, Los Angeles, CA 90012.
Dinner on Saturday, August 27, will be at 835 N. Broadway, Los Angeles, CA 90012 - a six minute walk from Empress Pavilion.
A tour of Thai Town the morning of Sunday, August 28, will start at a location TBD close to the intersection of Western Ave and Hollywood Blvd in Los Angeles.
Samakkee is also hosting a number of other fun networking and culture-building events aimed towards bringing Thais and Thai Americans together in sunny Los Angeles.
