A Streetcar Named Desire
Fresh from the success of their recent productions of Romeo and Juliet (#RandJ) and The Crucible, as well as 3 full scale musicals, Apollo are now delighted to be presenting arguably Tennessee Williams' finest work. A Streetcar Named Desire tells the story of Stella and Stanley Kowalski, a couple living in New Orleans, whose lives change irreparably when Stella's sister, Blanche, comes to stay with them. A powerful piece of drama, leaving you conflicted and unsure who to side with, this play is considered one of the finest works of the 20th century.
