Electric Apricot: Quest for Festeroo
This directorial debut by songwriter/musician Les Claypool is in the spirit of Spinal Tap. The film follows the band Electric Apricot, which has been kicking around the Jam Band scene for several years now, and is comprised of four colorful characters who take themselves far too seriously. The band has been offered some opportunities that could potentially break them through to levels beyond their dreams. An idealistic young filmmaker is there to capture the story as it unfolds. He follows them from nightclubs to the recording studio and eventually on the road to the Holy Grail of West Coast music events, a festival aptly named Festeroo. With Arj Barker, Seth Green, Matt Stone, Mike Gordon and Bob Weir. Original music by Les Claypool. Extra special guests appearing at some screenings!
