Ranger Danger & Danger Ranger and King Ten (SF Improv Festival 2012)
Ranger Danger and the Danger Ranger is made up of Luis Cortes and Drew Coolidge. A very quick paced 2-man show consisting of several characters, locations and situations. Abbott had Costello. Martin had Lewis. Luis Cortes and Drew Coolidge have to settle for each other. These veteran improvisers and best friends seem to share one comedic mind as they explore a multitude of ideas and characters in their trademark conversational style.
King Ten is iO West's longest running house team and one of the premier improv ensembles in Los Angeles. Audiences pack the house every Wednesday night at 10:30 p.m. to watch King Ten perform iO West's signature piece, The Harold, and to enjoy the original, ambitious and hilarious style of play this ensemble is known for. Individually these veteran improvisors have appeared in national television series, commercials and feature films, as well as taught classes, workshops, and coached teams at iO West. This show is not to be missed. King Ten has toured the country and has been an official selection in many Improv Festivals including: The LA Improv Festival, The Phoenix Improv Festival, Out of Bounds Improv Festival in Austin, TX, The San Francisco Improv Festival to name a few.
