Quabbin Valley Pro Musica ~ chorus
The Meetinghouse's resident chorus, Quabbin Valley Pro Musica, known for its varied music and high-quality concerts, will perform Mendelssohn's Elijah plus two works by chorus members: the Prayer of Saint Francis by Carolyn Brown Senier and Commit My Spirit by Allison Pollitt. Dr. Heffernan, Music Conductor, is professor emeritus of music at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. His conducting and teaching careers have taken him from coast to coast in the US and Canada as he has groomed choruses, music educators, and solo performers.
