Flower essences for Transformation: a one on one with Sophia Rose
Flower essences are remedies for transformation. Gentle as they are, there is no preparation -- herbal or otherwise -- with a greater power to uplift and instruct the human Heart and Spirit. We invite you to join traveling folk herbalist, Sophia Rose on the upcoming Full Moon for a short and sweet one on one ceremony to invoke the magic of the plants waiting to walk with you at this time. Sophia Rose will be offering brief flower essence consultations at the shop on July 20th from 6pm to 9pm. Each will begin with a clearing smudge, followed by time to share your story and identify the threads of your path wishing to be woven into new form. You'll leave the session with custom one ounce flower essence formulated to support you in walking the path that is uniquely your own. Sophia Rose is softness and strength. She is fierce and loving honesty, quiet curiosity. She is a woman who listens closely to the singing of the Earths Spirit and shares the beauty of all that she hears in her work with plants and people. Through La Abeja Herbs, Sophia Rose offers New and Full Moon ceremonies, crafts a host of wild medicines and apothecary goods, holds space for flower essence and herbal wellness consultations, and teaches classes on topics including women's medicine, folk herbalism, and wild foods.
A nomad at heart, Sophia can often be found on the road, bringing herbal medicine, magic, and lore to places both near and far. While she maintains an apothecary in Austin TX, this Summer she's taking a six month journey up the West Coast to teach, write, and wildcraft, following the plants as they become ready to harvest.
