Hampton Rotary Riverfest beer tasting & Block Party

Craft Beer and Yacht Rock to be Celebrated at Hampton Riverfest!
Craft Beer tasting event on Saturday, September 10 from 5:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. on Queens Way in Downtown Hampton. The event will feature more than 25 beers from 10 local breweries, and live entertainment by local favorites, The River Gypsies, an acoustic trio (6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.) and headliner, Captain and The Keels, playing North Carolina Yacht Rock (8:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.) on the Block Party stage.
Hailing from Raleigh, North Carolina, Captain and the Keels serve up the very best of West Coast smooth "Yacht Rock," right here on the East Coast, from Steely Dan to Chicago. The Wall Street Journal says, Yacht Rock is the Seven Seas of Smoothness.
Admission to Riverfest is FREE. Craft Beer Tasting tickets are available to guests 21 & up for $30 and can be purchased in advance at www.brownpapertickets.com or at the Hampton YMCA before September 9. Tasting tickets are $35 on the day of the event. Food, wine, and additional beverages are available for purchase. A prize will be awarded to the best Captains hat of the night.
