Ori Dagan returns for the first time. What? Well, Ori's starting a new "first Thursday of the month" thing at The Pubaret and this is his FIRST FIRST THURSDAY! Yay!
Recent winner of the CBC Radio competition "Canada's Next Top Crooner," Toronto-based jazz singer Ori Dagan is excited to be back at the Flying Beaver Pubaret!
His debut CD "S'Cat Got My Tongue" (2009) featured duets with Julie Michels, Heather Bambrick, Terra Hazelton and Sophia Perlman, and established him as a musical adventurer within the standard jazz landscape.
On his brand new CD Less Than Three (<3), the singer explores material by Elton John, Madonna, Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra and Lady Gaga, along with originals, standards, and selections in his native tongue of Hebrew stirred into the mix.
Whether you love jazz or not, this is a show you don't wanna miss!
