Sunday Suppers have always been an old tradition that brings people together at a table to bond over food. We encourage the culture of dialog during our intimate dinner and getting to know someone the old fashion way.
The littlemeatsLA Sunday Suppers is a platform for cooks, chefs, artisans, to have creative freedom and cook unapologetically. Every chef, every menu has a story. We bring this story to light for you to understand the chefs on a personal level.
Here at littlemeatsLA, we have given this tradition a contemporary twist. 30 people come together to sit at one long communal table to share a menu cooked by our featured chef. Our patrons come as strangers but leave as friends.
Have an empty stomach and an open mind when you join us for the night!
---------------- Featured Chef: Chris Yang (@cheftofer)
A scientist turned chef, Chris comes from a very unique and unusual culinary background. Having studied bio and organic chemistry in university, he became more interested in diet, and discovered a passion for food after starting an Instagram page to document his home cooking. Since then, he's ventured into the culinary world, cooking at Paiche, a high end Peruvian/Japanese, and other private dinners around the world. He's focused on farm-to-table contemporary cuisines that feature seasonal ingredients with different ways of cooking them. With a strong influence in tech, Chris also runs an online restaurant called Zipchops that delivers health focused meals in Venice area.
