Opening Night: 25 Years of BATS Improv (SF Improv Festival 2012)
Now in their 25th year, BATS Improv is San Francisco's largest and longest-running Improv Theatre Company. A 15-Time "Best of the Bay" winner, BATS Improv has earned a reputation for creating hilarious, innovative, and compelling theatre. The BATS Main Stage Company performs 50 weekends a year from their home at The Bayfront Theatre in historic Fort Mason Center. BATS is also home to the BATS School of Improv, Northern California's largest and most well-respected improv training ground. At the SFIF, BATS presents two shows a Theatresports match played by BATS Company and Alumni followed by a fully improvised long-form story.
