Sister Cities, presented by Chimera Ensemble
Chimera Ensemble is proud to present the Chicago premiere of Colette Freedman's Sister Cities, directed by Ashley Neal, August 20 - September 18 at The Den, 1333 N. Milwaukee. Previews are Saturday Aug. 20 at 7:30PM, Sunday Aug. 21 at 3PM (talk-back with Colette Freedman to follow), and Wednesday Aug. 24 at 7:30PM. Opening night is Aug. 25 at 7:30PM, and will be followed by a reception with champagne and finger food open to all.
Four estranged sisters, as different as the cities they are named after, face their mother's recent and sudden death in Sister Cities. Freedman's play was the hit of the 2008 Edinburgh Fringe Festival and has earned strong critical acclaim around the world.
The cast of Sister Cities includes Chimera Ensemble members Norma Chacon as Baltimore, Rainee Denham as Mary, Anna Donnell as Dallas, Nicole Fabbri as Austin, and Katlynn Yost as Carolina.

***UPDATE*** Chimera is excited to offer accessibility programming for three performances of Sister Cities! The 7:30PM evening performance on September 9th and the 3PM matinee performance on the 10th will feature Open Captioning, and on September 17th doors open at 1PM for a pre-performance Touch Tour starting at 1:30PM, followed by a 3PM matinee performance which will include live Audio Description. A reduced number of tickets to these performances are also available for sale on Brown Paper Tickets for those who would not like to use these services but want to attend Sister Cities for one of these performances.
