School of Rock Portland Performs: Pink Floyd "Live at Pompeii and Deep Cuts"
Pink Floyd is without a doubt one the most groundbreaking rock groups in history. Throughout their career, they created psychedelia, art rock, prog & concept albums. For this show, we will tackle one of the greatest live performances for film of all time: Live From Pompeii. Shot in the fall of 1971, prior to the release Dark Side of the Moon, the concert gathers early Floyd material, including the seminal version of Echoes. We'll also cover an assortment of Pink Floyd's deeper cuts. Songs from albums like Piper at the Gates of Dawn, Obscured by Clouds, Atom Mother Heart & Animals should be expected
