CERVANTES TO SOMEDAY!
The most beautiful Mother Daughter show ever. New American Youth Ballet presents a mixed program of your dreams! Directed and Choreographed by Elizabeth Flores, awarded Dance Teacher of the Year and Bolshoi ballet full scholarship recipient. Ms. Flores is known for her choreography in full length classical ballets and original works presented at Carnegie Hall. She has choreographed for The Juilliard School Musical Theater Presentations and was Director of Harkness Youth Ballet of the 92 Street Y.
Our first half of the program is the magnificent classic "Don Quixote" with a gorgeous score made available to us by American Ballet Theater! Dancing at it's best both young and old will be in awe of the breathtaking beauty and even special additions to warm your heart like our Father and Daughter Minuet!
For the icing on the cake, our second half is the World Premiere of New York Times #1 Best Seller for all ages SOMEDAY. The Author, Alison McGee has granted our company the permission to bring her book SOMEDAY to the NYC stage. The ballet has a score just composed by Elizabeth Flores and Dr. Alan Turry. This outstanding score is arranged by Chris Rinamin and expertly conducted by the great Maestro Aurelia.
Prepare to be moved and inspired - Don't miss this show! 1 performance only. The talk of the town!
