Twin River Record Release with The Highest Order
Twin River is the garage-pop brainchild of Courtney Ewan and Andy Bishop. Their upcoming sophomore album is comprised of songs that alternate between dazzlingly summery and hauntingly dark. Consequence of Sound calls first single 'Antony', "a road warrior of an indie song, reverberating guitars echoing The War on Drugs as much as any jangle pop artist".
"Passing Shade" will be released via Light Organ Records on June 17th, 2016.
The Highest Order are a psychedelic country band from Toronto, ON, comprised of members of One Hundred Dollars, Fiver, and EL V Gore. With a live show that draws upon classic forms of showmanship, The Highest Order dispose of the sloppier conventions of modern day indie rock, and offer a spectacle that hinges on accomplished musicianship and song craft.
