The Daphnes with the Blue Janes at the Garden House
Come out for an evening of mesmerizing music in a wonderful listening environment! The Daphnes play modern chamber-pop compositions featuring Monica Schley (harp and voice), Nate Omdal (bass) and Julie Baldridge (violin). This unconventional group draws sounds from neo-folkster M. Ward, 90s alternative bands Mazzy Star and Cowboy Junkies, and jazz musicians Pharaoh Sanders and Alice Coltrane. Special guests The Blue Janes are seasoned musicians jean mann, Kathleen Tracy and Arni Adler. They marry 3 ukes and voices for a delightful blend of humor and sweetness, and are getting rave reviews. The Blue Janes will open the show. All ages, refreshments served, doors will open at 7:30. Tickets $10 advance and $12 door.
