Musicians Extraordinaire

The High River Gift of Music Society is thrilled to present these two Calgary-based young talents in a joint recital. Someday you will be able to say "I heard them before they became world famous!"
Seven-year-old piano prodigy, Kevin Chen, has already drawn national attention for his extraordinary talent at the piano as well as his composing abilities. Kevin will be playing works by Mozart, Chopin as well as his own compositions. He's a tiny little guy with small hands with a gift that comes along once in a generation.
Ainsley Soutière is a young soprano and recent graduate in vocal performance from the Juilliard School of Music and Thornton School of Music (USC). Ainsley has interned with Seattle Opera and toured with Portland Opera. She will be singing selections of opera favorites, accompanied by Ron Bennie. Her beautiful sound and honest simplicity will touch your heart.
