Art Show Basics and Beyond
This workshop is the second in a series presented by Enterprise for Equity and Gallery Boom.
Designed for artists interested in direct sales!
Local artists start at the beginning and walk you through the process of choosing, signing up for, preparing and attending art shows, craft fairs, bazaars and more.
We will answer these five questions-
-How do I apply for shows?
-How do I build an affordable and attractive table display?
-What do I need to bring?
-How are Indoor and Outdoor shows different?
-What art shows are there in the area?
Learn from seasoned professionals the tips and tricks gained from attending oodles of shows over the years. Having an attractive table and booth doesn't need to cost hundreds of dollars. Olympia artist Kidd Coyote will demonstrate beautiful and affordable techniques on how to build displays on a budget. The ins and outs of indoor and outdoor shows will be covered by Olympia artists Megan MacClellan and Christine Malek. Come join us for learning, laughing and good food by Olympia's Nineveh.
