BYU Young Ambassadors
The Young Ambassadors are a group of singers, dancers, and musicians who have gained a reputation for entertaining excellence through energetic and heart-warming musical theater entertainment.
The Young Ambassadors perform Harmony: the Music of Life, a stage production celebrating favorites from some of America's best-loved musical scores like Carousel, Dream Girls, and Prince of Egypt. The show also highlights hits from artists like Benny Goodman, Michael Bublé, and Louis Jordan. The Young Ambassadors combine professional sound and staging with captivating choreography into a 90-minute presentation.
Harmony: The Music of Life includes a 10-piece band and a performing cast of 20 singers/dancers. The group is also supported by a crew of student technicians who control lighting, sound, and give backstage support.
The world-traveled Young Ambassadors perform extensively both nationally and internationally. They first performed internationally at Expo '70 in Osaka, Japan, and have since traveled throughout the United States and to 56 foreign countries. They were the first BYU performance group to entertain in the People's Republic of China, Vietnam, India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Egypt, Tunisia, and Morocco.
