#nofilter
Forward Flux Productions with Parley Productions presents #nofilter, an exhibition of new works investigating the role of filters in our digital lives. This one-night-only event marks the completion of an artists' residency program called collaborate:create. A group of artists have worked across disciplines to create new works in 21 days that explore our heavily filtered world. Engage with art and artists at the show.
The exhibition has a pARTy atmosphere with a full evening of new works including dance, film, visual art, 10min plays, performative and multimedia installations, music, and more, all exploring the role that filters have in our lives, from social media to the news media and more. There will be opportunities to meet the artists, and engage in conversation with others at the show.
Cash bar on site.
This diverse group of artists includes three playwrights from Parley playwrights group. In addition to new works, the exhibition highlights the artists' creative processes as a platform to foster the artist-audience relationship. #nofilter marks the culmination of the seventh cycle of collaborate:create, and the second in Seattle.
