Solemn Oath with Cheese
At everyone's favorite neighborhood beer bar, the Map Room, we will taste a selection of Solemn Oath Beers paired with outstanding artisan cheeses. Solemn Oath Brewery was launched in Naperville, Ill. in 2012 and it has already won numerous awards and accolades, thanks in part to the guiding hand of veteran brewer Tim Marshall. Cheese and Cheers director David Phillips began pairing craft beer and artisan cheese in Chicago in 2002. He is selecting six cheeses that will complement a six-beer cross-section of the brewery's portfolio. David will lead the program as we will sit, sip, taste, talk and laugh. You might learn a little something, and there will be punk rock trivia.
