Pysanky Workshop
Join Sue Overholt at the D.H. Burrell Overlook Mansion in Little Falls for a workshop on making Pysanky Eggs. Pysanky are ornate eggs decorated using the Eastern European traditional methods of creating a design using wax and multiple dye baths.
In this workshop you will create your own Pysanky egg using the traditional wax and dye techniques. In addition to your egg, you will get to take home the kistky (stylus) tool and instructions for creating more eggs at home.
There are two workshop times to choose from on Saturday, March 19:
12:00 noon to 2:00 pm
3:00 pm to 5:00 pm
Light snacks and beverages will be provided.
