Korby Lenker at Roper Auditorium
Raised in Twin Falls, multi-instrumentalist Korby Lenker has been making music professionally for over 15 years. Now based in Nashville, his award-winning songs have been featured in television shows and commercials, and he has shared the stage with such luminaries as Willie Nelson, Keith Urban, Ray Lamontagne, Nickel Creek, Susan Tedeschi, Tristan Prettyman, Kelly Joe Phelps, and more. He has toured internationally and appeared on stages at Bumbershoot, Sasquatch Festival, the
Most recently, he saw the release of his first book, Medium Hero, on Turner Publishing. Medium Hero is a collection of short stories based on Korby's life on the road and features great reviews from National Book Award-winning author Tim O'Brien, Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, and severl prominent newpapers, including the Idaho Statesman. Korby is currently in Twin Falls recording his 8th studio album, Thousand Springs. He ran a successful Kickstarter campaign in November 2015 and raised more than $20,000 for his newest effort. This special show at the Roper Auditorium will be a one-night-only event for a TFHS graduate and a true son of Southern Idaho.
Seating is general admission. Doors open at 6:30 and the music begins at 7:30. Tickets are $9 adv, $13 at the door. Students are $5 advance.
