The Bay Area's Doobie Decibel System was born when multi-instrumentalists Jason Crosby and Roger McNamee jammed for the first time, then mutually decided to keep the jam going after "the music played the band." A DDS show is an electrifying experience; the band has a wealth of great original material from which they draw, and also adeptly add their signature sound to classic rock and folk covers. Their initial duo shows were later enhanced by additional world-class musicians, and the band making its Jazzfest debut features the following stellar artists:
