In celebration of Autism Awareness month of April

A CHILD LEFT BEHIND (ACLB) is a critically-acclaimed solo play about Autism, education, and every child's first teacher. ACLB enlightens audiences, inspires, and educates about the challenges faced by children with special needs. Aymie delivers the story of a father and sons personal journey along the Autism Spectrum and a dramatic response to the LA Times "Value-added" teacher rating. Written and performed by Alan Aymie. Directed by Paul Stein.

Post-show talk-back with Calvin Nye, a 2013 graduate of CSU Channel Islands, is a talented graphic artist who resides in Ventura. Recently honored with 2013 "Awesome in Autism" Individual of the Year, and published comic book author of Joe Hero, a superhero with Autism.

Originally from Boston, Alan Aymie (Writer/Performer) is a nationally-produced, award-winning playwright, performer and educator committed to special needs, education and parenting issues. Currently based in Los Angeles, Alan performs across the country and is the only person to perform his work at The HBO Workspace,PSNBC Performance Space, Comedy Central Stage, U.S. Comedy Arts Festival and HBO screening room.
