Media Action and Zines 101 for Educators
The Media Action Campaign is an important curriculum teaching youth to deconstruct media and become creators rather than merely consumers of media. Also, zines are a valuable tool that can be used to empower and inspire students by teaching them to make their own media. Join seasoned zinester/educators Marc Parker and A.M. O'Malley in a discussion about how to teach zines to students. A zine is a hand-made publication made for passion and not for profit.
Cost: $10 members / $20 nonmembers
