| Description |
The headline cabaret artist is Wesla Whitfield, with music direction by Mike Greensill. Other featured soloists include Terese Genecco, Ernie Shelton and Nancy Tierney. The Montgomery High School Chamber Singers will also perform. This event includes a silent auction with wine and complimentary hors d'oeuvres.
The Montgomery High School Chamber Singers (from Santa Rosa, CA) achieved a Gold rating at the 2007 state-level Heritage Festival, qualifying them to compete at the national level in 2008. They have been invited to the Heritage Festival of Gold, which will take place in New York City April 3-7, 2008. Proceeds from the "Going for the Gold in New York City" benefit concert and silent auction will enable the Montgomery High School Chamber Singers to travel to the Heritage Festival of Gold in New York City.
