Mama Lava
Mama Lava chronicles three women's journeys, following them down their utterly divine and unique paths toward becoming healers at a time when global revolution and evolution are upon us. Each woman navigates her inner struggle of light and dark, of earthly realms and higher consciousness, of global prophecies and inner truths. On their paths, these women come to embrace what is below the surface--Lava!--in the subconscious, and the parts of ourselves (especially as women) we reject. These three are ushering in a time of divine feminine, sacred sisterhood and spiritual activism, and they want you to be a part of it.
This two evening only event (June 7-8 at Kraine Theater, NYC--get your tickets now) is a dynamic fusing of theatrical performance with spiritual ceremony not to be missed. Mama Lava creator, songstress, healer, DJ, and artist DJ Chela will assist the audience in reaching a profound place of self-love and acceptance, from which anything is possible. jazabel jade, a celebrated burlesque performer and activist, and educator, choreographer and dancer Lorilee Chien join her.
Featuring transformational sound healing, turntablism, story-telling (and un-telling), movement, fashion design, and installation art, Mama Lava is a mechanism for collective spiritual healing. As an audience member you are invited to engage in a physical, energetic, spiritual, emotional, and mental healing journey with those around you. The intention of the piece is to inspire others to be a part of a global shift towards unity and to foster healing on a societal level.
