Kallari Chocolate Tasting
You are invited to join Transition Palo Alto and The Chocolate Garage for an evening of artisan chocolate. We will be hosting a chocolate tasting and lecture by Kallari Association of cacao growers, one of only two cacao cooperatives to be recognized with the Slow Food Presidium award for their heirloom cacao beans. The lecture will cover roasting techniques, origins of the chocolate, stages in cocoa production and bean preparation as well as the process for chocolate making, and the economic impact of chocolate as a commodity.  Tickets are $25. Seats are limited, so book your tickets soon!
