McKinley Classical Leadership Academy is home to one of the most accomplished high school jazz bands in the state. Under the leadership of band director Bob Dorries, the "Goldbug" jazz band has racked up enough awards that we've had to build more shelves to hold its trophies. Now the band has moved to the next level, taking their sound into Shock City Studios to cut a professional CD. The McKinley Goldbug jazz band will perform and launch their new CD at a concert and party at the Sheldon Concert Hall on February 28, 2016 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.
