SAFe A dangerous weapon. Techniques to implementing a lasting adoption of the Scaled Agile Framework
Please join us on Wednesday January 27 in Burlington MA starting at 6:30 pm as senior enterprise agility coach Yuval Yeret describes several techniques that can be used to produce a lasting and productive adoption of the Scaled Agile Framework.
The Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) is a powerful and popular framework for implementing agile at large scale across the enterprise. However many organizations see their implementation of SAFe stall and even backfire since the adoption is mandated from its organizational leaders, instead of engaged teams participating and choosing their SAFe.
In this talk we will examine some dangerous implementation anti-patterns as well as healthier alternatives. You will learn some concrete techniques that help live up to the Lean/SAFe principles of respecting and engaging people. We will discuss field-proven ideas such as pull-based crossing the chasm approach to implementation, use of open space as part of the different SAFe ceremonies, and how Open Space Agility can combine with SAFe.
ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Yuval is a senior enterprise agility coach at AgileSparks, an international lean agile consulting company with offices in Boston, Israel, India. He is leading several strategic long-term scaled lean/agile initiatives in large enterprises such as Siemens, HP, Amdocs, Informatica, Intel, CyberArk among others. Yuval is a big believer in pragmatic, best-of-breed solution design, taking the best from each approach. He is a recipient of the Brickell Key Award for Lean Kanban community excellence. He is the author of "Holy Land Kanban" based on his thinking and writing at yuvalyeret.com. Yuval is also a SAFe Program Consultant, CSPO, CSM, CSP.

Anyone authorized by the event promoter to attend this event is subject to the following Ground Rules as a condition of attendance: There are no refunds for paid events. No audio or video recording permitted. Recording of video and/or audio is grounds for revoking your authorization to attend. You may take pictures. You are required to show up ready to have loads of FUN and engage in lots of LEARNING with lots of other very curious, fun-loving people. By purchasing a ticket and/or attending this meeting (hereafter the Event), you are explicitly authorizing us to capture pictures, video, and audio recordings of your image and voice and to use these recordings in promotion of our events.
