Brad Barton at the Fog City Magic Fest
Performing for over 20 years, Brad Barton, Reality Thief combines magic, psychology, comedy, mentalism, and audience participation to create astonishing effects in both his close-up and stage work. He predicts your dreams, causes borrowed objects to levitate, and reveals your most cherished childhood memories. Since learning his first illusion at 12 years old, Brad Barton, Reality Thief has been fascinated by the techniques used to manipulate the imagination. At 15 he was working behind the counter in his local Tampa, FL magic shop. By 23 he had been hired as a resident magician in Waldorf Astoria's Boca Raton Resort & Club. After moving to San Francisco, Brad Barton has performed for such varied groups as an intimate audience at Lt. Governor Gavin Newsom's private residence to 1,000's of fans during rock band Phish's historical Festival 8 in Indio, CA.
