GERONIMO Life On The Reservation
A seldom told story about the last 23 years of Geronimo's life as a prisoner of war in his own country. It starts with his final surrender in 1886 and after stops in Florida and Alabama prisons he was sent to his final stop at Ft. Sill Oklahoma where he spent the last 15 years of his life.It focuses on the resillency, humor, and genius of this great Apache leader.
In this presentation, Geronimo cleverly evolves from a POW into a celebrity and entrepranuer.
To my knowledge no one in the history of American Theatre has ever played Geronimo or told his side of the story at this period of his life. I am honored to play him and give him the voice he deserves, the voice he never had.
