Honeybees - the Musical!
Life and love, winning and losing, lesbians and drama queens all wrapped up in the hilarious, harmonious adventure that is: Honeybees - The Musical!
Fresh from performing to sell-out audiences in Brighton, Honeybees - the Musical is coming to Eastbourne for one night only before it goes to London. This all-new Hockey Horror Show follows the adventures of a lesbian women's hockey team - the Brighton Honeybees - as they attempt to take on their arch rivals - the Hove Hornets - win the cup, get the girl and try not to get the wrong end of the (hockey) stick.
There's music for everyone - with rock, pop, hip-hop, a touch of George FormBEE and even our very own Lady Lager. As our posters put it: If you see just one Lesbian Field Hockey Musical this year - it has to be Honeybees - the Musical!
Honeybees - the Musical is a fundraiser for Allsorts Youth Project, an award-winning Brighton-based charity that supports young people under 26 who are Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans or unsure of their sexuality [www.allsortsyouth.org.uk].
