Community Singing for Life Passages
Join Laurence Cole, assisted by Randy Morris, as they lead us through a day of group singing, using only the equipment we were born with: our breath, our bodies, our voices, and our hearts. We will learn about the medicine wheel as a map of the developing soul and how singing can be used to mark, honor and bless the strong emotions of life transitions such as birth, adolescence, marriage, mid-life transitions, elderhood and death. Using reflections on these powerful life initiations as source material, we will weave together extemporaneous songs that will carry us on their wings, in community, over the rugged terrain of life.
