A Jazz Holiday with the Nate Najar All Star Big Band
St. Petersburg guitarist, Nate Najar has been performing holiday shows for over a decade. Tonight he shares the stage with a world class All Star jazz group of musicians in a concert featuring jazz interpretations of 'The Nutcracker' by Tchaikovsky. "We'll do pieces from the Ellington "Nutcracker Suite" and we'll also be swinging some of your holiday favorites,"says Nate. Nate's All-star group features an A-list of jazz performers including saxophonists Harry Allen, Austin Vickrey; reed players Ken Peplowski, Rodney Rojas, Jeff Rupert; trombonists Bill Allred, Marius Dicpetris, Ron Moss; trumpeters Jon-Erik Kellso, James Suggs; drummer Chuck Redd, former Ellington bassist John Lamb and Nate on guitar.
