This Roller Derby Training Camp is for skaters of all skill levels, as well as coaches and referees (off skates).
Schedule for 2 day training camp:
Saturday July 28
9am-10am -Check In, Gear Up, Stretch, Warm Up.
10am-11am -Injury Prevention
11am-12pm -Jurassic Park Offense
12pm-1pm -Backwards and Transitional Blocking
1pm-110pm -Stretch
1:10pm-2pm -Lunch Break
2pm-3pm -Leadership Among Alphas
3pm-4pm -Talk Derby to Me
Sunday July 29
9am-10am -Gear Up, Stretch, Warm Up.
10am-11am -Blocker Jobs (Bring Tennis Shoes)
11am-12pm -Partner Blocking
12pm-1pm -Jammer (scoring pass tech)
1pm-1:10pm -Stretch
110pm-2pm -Lunch Break
2pm-3pm -Write it Down Make it Happen
3pm-4pm -Mental Game/Zen Derby
5pm-? -Scrimmaging, Skating, Spreadin' Derby Love.
This event will take place at Roller Derby Virginia Beach located in Virginia Beach, VA. The skating surface is a SkateCourt.
Make sure to bring plenty of water so that you can hydrate, hydrate, hydrate!!!!

7/28 9am check in, Training camp 9am - 4pm 7/29 10am-4pm both days have on and off skates training...from backwards and transitional blocking to zen derby-the mental game. |
