In this hands on class you, along with five other classmates will learn all of the ins and outs of sausage making. Together you'll work together to make three different types of sausage; one fresh, one emulsified and one smoked. The class will start with breaking down pork legs for the meat in the sausages. We'll talk about what we are looking for in our sausage meat and what to avoid. Following that you'll work in teams of two to weigh out ingredients and grind the meat. You'll then work as a group to mix and stuff the sausages with the guidance of one of our staff. We'll send you home with two pounds of each sausage (we'll give you the fully cooked versions of the smoked and emulsified ones), and two pounds of ground pork to test some new recipes at home.
Gift Tickets: There are two options to give this class as a gift:
#1)Purchase a date that you would like your gift-ee to attend and do it under their name.
#2)Purchase the June 1st date ticket as a open-ended ticket to the class. The June 1st date is not an actual class date. If you purchase this date, the person that you give this as a gift to will have to call Brown Paper Tickets and switch the ticket to a date that works for them. We hold 1 of these classes per month and post two months worth at a time. Please note: Tickets for this class MUST be Redeemed by June 1,2017 or they will be forfeited.
Important! Cancellation Policy: Cancellations received at least 48 hours before start of class will receive a full a full refund. Cancellations received after the 48 hour period will receive a 50 percent refund. Please contact Rose's directly to cancel after the 48 hour cut-off.
