The film character lives in a run-down wooden manor house in the outskirts of Łódź. In the past, Jan lived here with his wife and a sizeable bestiary, but now he is accompanied by just two dogs and a mouse. Nothing happens in his life; only walks with his dogs add some colors to the drabness of his everyday life. Other than love for nature, the protagonist has only his dreams. He would like to see the sea!
