TLRS Presents: Tommy Womack w/guest Brian Dolzani
The Living Room has hosted some of coolest local and national touring musicians, and is extremely excited to be hosting another one, with Tommy Womack for the first time!
About Tommy
As both an artist and a person, Tommy Womack has been called everything from "Tom Lehrer with a Telecaster" to "Nashville's best loved musical eccentric," and he might blushingly, but proudly, accept both titles. That's because separating Womack the man and Womack the artist is impossible, as they're both the same guy. An award-winning recording artist and a published author, Womack writes songs as honest as anything Hank Williams or Steve Earle ever recorded, and has attracted the attention of the national press while accumulating a loyal following.
About Brian
Brian is a classic troubadour in the lineage of Petty, Springsteen, Browne, Young, and he has put his years of songwriting experience into his latest record. 'I love pulling from multiple, stricter genres such as country, pop, blues, rock and roll,' Brian explains, 'then breaking out of those boundaries and just trying to write a great song that hopefully transcends those elements and becomes as big and wide as possible.'
About The Living Room Series
The Living Room Series offers a unique and intimate way to enjoy some of the most talented artists to play in Louisville. The events always include a hot meal, and are BYOB. The vibe is extremely chill, as this is an ACTUAL living room located in a 116 year old house in Old Louisville. All music appreciators are welcome to attend the concerts at The Living Room, so feel free to bring your friends to these events!
