Evening of Comedy to benefit Family Promise
Unity Bank is proud to be the lead sponsor of AN EVENING OF COMEDY to benefit Family Promise of Warren County, which provides services and support for homeless families and children in Warren County. This funny and fast-paced show includes performances by nationally recognized comedians as well as established regional favorites.

Sherry Davey grew up in England, Austria and the United States. She lives in New York City but casts her comedy net nationwide. She has been honored as one of the Hollywood Reporter's "Magnificent Seven". Her television appearances include Comedy Central's "Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn", Fox News Channel's "The Full Nelson" and Nick at Night's "Search for America's Funniest Mom II". Sherry also has her own web series on Comedy Central's "Mother Load". She was recently named one of the "top comedians in NYC by Improper Magazine and appears regularly at all the top NYC clubs including The Comic Strip, Standup New York, Carolines on Broadway and the Duplex Cabaret.

Alex Barnett, a lawyer turned standup comic, also uses NYC as a base for appearances at clubs, colleges and venues throughout the country. He has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, CNN.com and on NYC-TV. He won the 12th annual Gilda's club (northern NJ) laugh off, placed second in Philadelphia's Emerging Comics Contest and recently began a nationwide tour with Comedians-at-Law, a group of five lawyers turned standup comics. His writings appear regularly In the New York Daily News, the online webzine "the Coil Review" and his own daily blog.

John Clark traded his native California for New York City and a career in stand-up comedy -- and it's California's loss. With his cracked way of looking at everyday life, John leaves an audience laughing and asking for more. In addition, his likeability and smart material make him a master Master of Ceremonies.  In 2010, John was selected to perform in the New York Underground Comedy Festival .  He regularly performs at private and corporate events and comedy clubs in NYC and throughout the tri-state area.

The four members of The Late Shift standup comedy ensemble (Julie McCormick, Fred Holzapfel, Peggy Robinson and Phil Sweet) have performed at theaters, comedy clubs, taverns and benefit shows in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and NYC, gaining a loyal following for their forthright and funny perspectives on growing up, growing old and most everything in between.
